Most of my work, in one way or another, involves bringing people together and finding out what’s possible when we really listen to each other and feel safe to try new ideas and ways of thinking.

This often means planning and designing workshops, as well as co-creation processes, and this strand runs through all of my work, from journalism to community organising, theatre and building power.

From Leeds to Berlin, via Luton, Belfast and Chicago, I’ve organised workshops and co-learning sessions for lots of different groups and communities. I’ve been lucky to receive lots of positive feedback, from people saying they felt confident to go for jobs they wouldn’t have applied to before, to people able to speak out on social issues they didn’t feel able to, and imagine new and better futures.
